	By land There is only one road onto the island, that is Pine Island Road. You can exit off of Interstate 75 on to Pine Island Road and travel west. After coming on the island by way of the quaint village of Matlacha you will come to a four-way stop sign. Turn left on Stringfellow Road and travel south. When you cross the bridge over the canal Bob and Annie's will be on your left.
	By Water On the Intercoastal Waterway head to red marker "8" and green "1" heading north into Matlacha Pass. Take a bearing of about 300 degrees keeping a close eye on your chart and your depth gauge to be sure that you stay in deep enough water. You will see houses on the shore to the west and there is a post marking the entrance of the Dawson Canal. As you enter the canal you will notice homes on your left and mangroves on your right. Follow this main canal until it turns right or north at some condominiums.

Bob and Annie's Boatyard is down this canal about a quarter of a mile; look for the cranes and all the boats! You'll know it when you see it.
