Bob and Annie's Boatyard specializes in all forms of custom fabrication and all material. Over the last 33 years we have been asked to build everything from a simple bracket to major jobs such as lengthening vessels. If you can imagine it we can build it, we have the knowledge, experience and craftsmanship for any project.
Aluminum
With onsite professional welding we are geared for any project involving aluminum from fuel tanks, T-tops, Bimini tops, polling platforms, swim platforms, dingy racks, railings, engine brackets, towers, ladders, benches, SCUBA racks, structural supports, radar arches, davits and much more..
Fiberglass
We are the Experts when it comes to fiberglass work. We have cut vessels in half and lengthening them, extended the sterns, added bulbous bows for hydrodynamic performance, fiber glassed over wood vessels, built swim platforms, radar arches, hard tops, storage benches, sun lounges, consoles, fish boxes, hatches, doors, repaired keels, hulls, stringers…just to name a few.
Steel
Many of the jobs with steel work involved work barges of all different sizes and configurations. Some of this work included replacing the decks, various work on the hull above and below the waterline, spuds, supports, towers, ladders, ramps, patches, tanks, plates, brackets.
Wood
We have worked on many of the classics from Grand Banks, Chris Craft, Lyman's and even restored a Daniel's (based off the Knight Brothers design) which were built on Captiva in the 1960's. From replacing mahogany hull planks on the Grand Banks, teak decking, rails and trim work on many other boats, veneer, wood finishing and every boaters dreaded varnishing we have you covered.
